Australian National Prayer Breakfast
Welcome to the Australian National Prayer Breakfast website.
The National Prayer Breakfast is a significant event in the Australian Parliamentary Year. We believe it is important that members of the parliament pause and join with other leaders in the nation to seek the wisdom and counsel of God. That is not to say that those of us who trust in God don’t pause as often as possible, however on this occasion as leaders from across the nation, we do so together.
The National Prayer Breakfast is hosted by the Parliamentary Christian Fellowship with the support of a small organising committee. Since 1982 it has been recognised as a unique forum for national leaders to come together to pray for our nation, national issues and for one another as national leaders.
The National Prayer Breakfast is a non-partisan, non-political event. The program is designed to bring encouragement, edification and thought provoking insight for national leaders.
We look forward to welcoming you to this year’s Breakfast and the associated seminars.
